Some projects need concrete that flows further, gains strength faster, resists cracking better or uses less cement. Our special application concretes are designed and tested for these specific performance needs, and can be supplied in the grade your structure requires.
Fly ash concrete partially replaces cement with fly ash, a fine by-product of power generation. The result is a smoother, more workable mix with lower heat of hydration and improved long-term strength and durability.
Best for: Mass concrete, foundations and rafts, retaining walls, sustainability-focused projects

Self-compacting concrete flows and fills formwork under its own weight, even around dense reinforcement, without vibration. It gives a smooth, consistent finish and cuts labour and noise on site.
Best for: Heavily reinforced columns and walls, complex formwork, architectural exposed concrete, hard-to-reach areas

Early strength concrete gains strength faster than conventional concrete, so formwork can be removed earlier and work moves ahead sooner.
Best for: Fast-track projects, precast elements, repair work, cold or wet-weather pours

Fibre mixed concrete contains [steel / synthetic] fibres spread evenly through the mix. The fibres help control shrinkage cracking and improve toughness and impact resistance.
Best for: Industrial floors, warehouses, pavements, driveways, parking areas

Large pours, durability, lower carbon
Can special concretes be supplied in any grade?
Most special mixes can be designed for a range of grades. Tell us your required grade and our team will confirm.
Is self-compacting concrete more expensive?
SCC usually costs more per cubic metre, but it can save on vibration, labour and finishing time. We can quote both options for comparison.
Is fly ash concrete as strong as normal concrete?
Fly ash concrete gains strength more gradually but typically reaches and can exceed the target strength over time. It is designed to meet the specified grade.
Do special concretes need longer notice?
Some mixes need extra planning. We recommend booking [X days] in advance.
